We are a grassroots group that came together to own and operate a local historic building-enriching community experiences with the following museum quality exhibits and related activities

DHS Store & Resources

•  Alex Fraser Glengarry  Gravestones Genealogy Collection
• Online eBooks: a considerable selection of local history and genealogy  
• Hard-copy books by mail:  Quebec genealogy and history related:  Loyalist Townships Early Quebec Collection  
• Outdoor Memorial Gardens: Open to the public April-Nov. dawn-dusk 
• The on-site store “Curiosity Shop”offers a pleasant selection of jewellery, old coins, books, art, gift items, bric a brac miscellanea
• Coffee Shop-Coffee and cold drinks available

JUNE – NOVEMBER

• Annual General Meeting Saturday June 27 10 am at the Dalkeith Historical Society Building 1841 Dalkeith Road in Dalkeith.
• We are open Saturdays 10 am to 1 pm
• tea, snacks and more
• Comfy chairs and conversation
• Stay tuned for special events and displays coming up.

DECEMBER 

• We are closed for the Winter. +M

Memberships: Individual: $20/year | Family: $30/year   
Donations of your choice are welcome.
CRA receipts issued if requested for amounts $20.00 and up.

DHS Committees support and implement Board Directives. DHS property is insured through Ecclesiastical.

Open to the general public April through November Saturdays 10 am-1 pm and on other special occasion dates.
