It is a grassroots group that came together to own and operate a local historic building-enriching community experiences with the following museum quality exhibits and related activities.

DHS Committee’s support and implement Board Directives. DHS property is insured through Ecclesiastical.


Open to the general public April through November Saturdays 10 am-1 pm and on other special occasion dates.

Folks-The Annual General Meeting is designated/designed  to “highlight and celebrate” all the good things that DHS does in the previous year-as well as to fulfill legal obligations to Canada Revenue Services and to Ontario Corporation.

Annual General Meeting 2022-Agenda Notice is hereby given that the ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING of the Dalkeith Historical  Society will be held Saturday May 28. 2022,  10:00 A.M.  at 1841 Dalkeith Rd, Dalkeith, On.

  1. Additions to /acceptance of the Agenda


  1. To accept & receive approval previous AGM minutes of May 29, 2021 -(remembering that it had been postponed from May 15- on account of strict Covid lockdown) (Stephanie Richer)


  1. To accept the Chairs report for the preceding year 2021 (the 10th anniversary of DHS (Maggie Dean)


  1. To accept and receive approval of the Financial Statements of the Society for the preceding year 2021-including 2 grants: one of $2000.00 from North Glengarry Township & the other $1000.00 from SDG Counties) (Frances Fraser)


  1. To approve Nominating Committee report for Board of Directors 2020-2022. a slate of 2022 Board names to be elected and or acclaimed as necessary for the coming year (Helen Kaufman for Corry Olsthoorn)
